Which is your preferred method of bass fishing? Would you rather strike, set a hook or fight?

Hi.
I mostly only Flyfish for Trout,same as other Fishing,the Fish can hook themselves or you might have to strike to hook the fish as in Dry Fly or Nymph Fishing.
Fighting Fish can sometimes be hard work,also a challenge.
