Hi Guys,

This is my first post!

I was wondering if anyone has seen a smaller version reel similar to the Infinity X5000BR Big Pit Reel?

I am starting to collect reels mostly older reels - and would love to find a twin shaft baitrunner similar to the Infinity - if anyone has one for sale please post your details!

I love the short body design, I want to find one a bit lighter then the Daiwa!

Cheers.

Mark_fisher, welcome to the forum I hope members owning these will see this and react

Do you only collect those older reels or do you also intend on using them?

Hi Danube,

Thanks, it looks like a great forum! Well both really, I enjoy carp fishing but as equal as that I love collecting fishing gear, mostly older / vintage reels.

I enjoy seeing the design innovation over the years and how many of the features that used to be around have gone and are coming back into fashion again!!

I believe the twin-shaft reel has got to be an example, that was thought up by someone a long time ago, disappeared for a while and then was brought back by Daiwa!

I read about a similar case with Penn and the double gear box system....

Cheers, Mark

Mark, I agree. It indeed is a very interesting subject and if combined with practical use even more so.
