Hi all, hopefully someone can advise me what leaders(and brands) to use in various situations. I have been using tapered (Frog Hair and fulling mill knotless)leaders for small dry flies(size 16 and smaller) but find they(the leaders)have a tendency to curl up and mess up presentation and end up only feet from the flyline despite the leaders being at least 9ft.I havn't tried to make my own ones using various breaking strains, what are the best strenghts to use and brands or material (ie monofilament etc).I use flurocarbon when fishing buzzer pupae and nymphs and wet flies in general.Any thoughts on this or leader preparation in general would be appreciated.
Also, do you use sinkants to degrease etc

Wardrobe welcome at the forum, I'm happy you joined us

I heard small dry flies are usually 'handled' with silicon paste or foam...
