ok so im going to myrtle beach in a couple months and i have never even seen the ocean let alone fished in it i have only fish in lakes pounds and rivers so i was wanting to know what i should buy for ocean fishing like if i need a new rod and reel what type of lures and bait and what ever els i need im mostly going to be fishing from the shore thanks

You will probably need a saltwater reel (like for example Everol), a saltwater rod (like for example G. Loomis pro-Blue saltwater rods), saltwater fishing lures (like butterfly jigs or shrimps) or saltwater combos (like for example Alltackle's) and depending on the weather you might also want to take into considering special clothing (like if it rains).

i just got back from my trip and i only got to salt water fish one time. from the pier i was going to go on a fish trip 15 mile's out but it got canceled because of five foot waves but i did get ten sand shark's and six skate's and one crazy clam thing from the pier which was cool with me my PC is down right now and i am using my old one so i will post pic's as soon as i can

Hmmm I think that maybe they were too large?
Only up to max. 500 pixels this forum can take.
If you can be so kind you can resize them on line,

well its jpeg 12.52kb 100 pixels width and 200 pixels height and i still cant post it
