Okay. Well i never really considered catching my own nightcrawlers until recently. My buddies planned a fishing trip last minute; and we did not have enough worms left over in the fridge nor any money we could waste. The money was needed for the essentials like food and drinks and paying our stay at the park anyways... So i poked around on google and found out how i was able to catch my own worms at night. I tried it out and surprising i was able to catch more than enough. Ever since then i've been catching my own worms... But now a crazy thought has entered my head and is refusing to leave. How about if i could make money selling the worms that i catch. People say you can make good money but i havn't enter the business world(only 17yrs)I really don't know where to get start if you guys would have any tips it would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

Bassassassin101, welcome here I hope you will enjoy the forum.

May I ask what method you used to catch your own worms? (Or is this a professional secret? )

I remember catching worms with my dad, long ago. He'd make holes in the soil and I had to dance around them. The worms would try to escape the place I was stamping my feet on and creep out of those holes.

Is that the same way you did it?

(As for your question, why don't you go to your local fishing store and ask if you can sell to them?)

the way i catch my own nightcrawlers is wait till it rains then go out back and look down and pick them up i have got a 100 that way and could get more but dont need any more then 100 at a time then i put them in a big worm tub and feed them corn meal and quaker oats and put a littel water to keep the dirt from drying out and use them as i need some times they even breed and i get more worms when you get a good raining the worms come to the surface try it out its crazy how many worms you will get in one backyard there is thousands p.s its good to see other young people catching there own bait and fishing i am 21 myself and have been fishing seens i was a kid. good luck
