I am a recent 'immigrant' to Louisiana and am dying for some awesome carp action. I am wondering if there are any good place to fish for carp from the bank around the area of New Orleans. I would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
Nobody has ever before asked the nuclear family to live all by itself in a box the way we do. With no relatives, no support, we've put it in an impossible situation.

We have the best fishing in the world with many species of fish and liberal limits, but I have never seen carp in the sportsmans paradise!! You have many, many other game fish options though, have a look: http://www.bertaut.com/LaFishMag1.html E-mail me for directions, Fish Forever, BOB!!

Rex, join www.carp.net, if someone from New Orleans is a member they may be able to help you out.

There are carp anlgers group members in Louisiana -so there must be carp - that contributes to it being a sportsmans paradise .
