Hi.
I used them a few times,the only thing I found using snap hooks was the Tipit wasn't securely tied to the Hook & and the Fly could hinge around the snap hook,
whether this is a bad or a good thing is I suppose debateable,however like myself & others who used them in the past,we now still tie our tipits to the eye of the Hook.
