Hi Derek.
Hardy Reels were originally made in England, found their way all around the World & were "The Reel of the day",also a great collectors item which bring good money, even though some are now made in Korea they have a unique Click sound from the ratchet, there are numerous models, yours sounds it's a Hardy's Prince, the three discs are the British Royal Seal,The Prince's Personal seal & Hardy's own Seal.
