How to sting a spinning reel?

Hello. I am very new to fishing. I bought a spinning reel combo and can't figure out how to string it. It has 8lb line and front drag. I know I have to put the string through the holes, but how do I get it to reel in? Do I wind the string around the bale somehow?

upright on the floor you lay the fishing line spool, from the spool you take the end of the line, thread it thru the eye of your pole eye, after that you thread it through every single eye of the reel, make sure the bale of your reel is open, to your line spool tie a knot, start reeling the line in by reel

after you get about 80 orso yards on your reel spool cut the line 2" from the reel spool and find a rubber band to put over it to keep the line in place.
