I've cuaght redfish before but i want to try to catch them more often How and where in a river?

Redfish in a river?
I am so sorry, here they're saltwater fish.
I suppose in the U.S. the Red Drum species of Redfish is a freshwater fish?

I know i live near a saltwater river connected to the ocean by inlets how do u catch them????
