How do you decide what color soft plastic bait to use? and how many colors do you carry with you?

also it's unlimited the colours you can carry,I know I bought a Bucket years ago which had every colour imaginable.

I guess what I was asking was how do you know what color to use when, and do you find a lot of the colors very useful, or only a few?

I'd say that it all depends on the day and the lake you are fishing on. I know all season in Massachusetts I would throw anything black really. Black with blue flake, black with red, or just plain black. Also smoke with purple flakes works really well. I only really fish senkos so that would be my bait of choice. Normally If one color isn't working I will throw a different color, and I will switch up the riggings from Texas to wacky. Those would be my reccomendations but I am sure that you can use any color and make it work. But like I said i'd reccommend black with any flake and smoke with purple.
