Hi guys i woul like to know what is the best size hook to use to catch sandy mullet from a jetty and what sort of rig is the best thank you for your help and advice

Hi.
Mullet are not always easy to catch,incidently Iv'e just come across an article from 1998 on catching Mullet.
In it they are Burlying with Bread made into pellets,then they Fly Fish for them using Two Bread Crust Flies,about the size of the Pellets on a size 10 & 12 Hook,one floating,one Sinking.
Just try Burlying & fishing with a dough Ball.
When we were young we put Cotton wool on the Hook & covered it with a Dough made from Flour & Water.
