Hi.
It's a good idea to remove Batteries at the end of the Skiing/Fishing Season,as they always seem to be in the way when you want to do some maintenence, make sure you store them on a piece of Rubber Matting, etc & not directly on the ground or Cement Floor.
Also it's advisable to keep them charged,as how many times have we all heard, happened to us,of leaving Batteries & when they are needed are dead, the main thing we have found are clocks which are going all the time & will eventually flatten Batteries.
When I was in the Mining Industry all our Rescue Vehicles & an Ambulance were all connected to a unit to keep the Batteries charged,so they were always ready, also checked weekly.
