I started building my own rods a few years ago. I would come home from a fishing trip and catch myself thinking about what my equipment didn't do well. Now that I build my own rods I think it is the only way to go, and so have started to build for others. If you are looking for a new rod, think about custom. I'll be happy to talk with you, and advice is free so if all I do is help you organize your thoughts then I'm happy with that. It is all about enjoying the sport of fly fishing. I would like to think that I help others enjoy the sport in a greater way.

Here is a shot of my latest build. The grip is zebrawood and it has peacock and golden pheasant inlays. You would be amazed at how much more sensitive a rod is with a wood instead of traditional cork grip.
