There's ALWAYS a reason to buy new gear! You can catch trout with 7WT just fine. Someday, when you want a more delicate presentation, you'll want to go for a lighter weight rod and reel.

Mikefish, I looked it up and you are right. Some(!) (like in a few or very few) people can catch over 100 Bass a day per boat, but that is not to say everyone will.

The Large Bull Head Mullet are almost impossible to catch on a line,occasionally some will be caught on a Fly or Bait,mainly they are caught in nets.
