Theo from The Wandle Piscators (both a blog and a river conservation and fishing group) wrote a great review for BoneFish a fishing DVD.

The creator of the DVD, Charles Rangeley-Wilson,  first and foremost a fly fisher, and also a TV presenter and writer (about fishing, obviously) has this posted on his site about the movie

“What is it about bonefish? Every fisherman asks themselves this: if I could give up everything for one fish, in one place, what would it be, where would it be? And the more I go, the more I’m sure that for me it would be a big bonefish in the Caribbean.” The words I use to start this quest and words I expect most fishermen will relate to no matter what they fish for, or where.

But this film is, I hope, about a lot more than just fishing. Fish are a product of their environment and I can’t fall in love with one, without falling for the other: fishing throws such a wide net over the landscape. And for me the pleasures of the quest are inseparable from where that quest takes me and who I meet along the way. This journey is as much about the people and the place, as the fish.

The combination of those blue blue waters, this blurb and Theo’s review is definitely going to get me that DVD (or maybe not - it might be just a little to appealing…:-))
