Well, first off I just found this forum today and am looking forward to lots of fun sharing about fishing.

My question is, what kind of lures have you had good luck in catching bluegills, and other pan fish, with? I have had pretty good luck with worms and pieces of nightcrawlers, but I never seem to do very well with artificial lures.

Hi leman.
Welcome to the forum.
I haven't caught Bluegills, perhaps you can try the plastic imitations,I know that a variety of different species are caught on them, both in fresh and salt water, the main thing with any lure,is to work the lure,by occasionally giving the rod a slight flick as you are retrieving the lure.
Good luck.

I always do good with small spinner baits and crank baits. I fish for alot and i always get blue gill and bass daily in a little pond by my house. Try the blue fox vibrax size 2 and you'll get blue gills! Get the small rapalas too. GOOD LUCK!
