I have been looking to upgrade people have told me Hummingbird over lowrance.

Hi Duckman
My portable Humminbird 3 8 3c w/gps has been very good to
me. I however, do not endorse one over the other. It is my
feeling that the units are only as good as the operator.

Hi Duckman, welcome to the forum. I think they are both in the same league and agree with steeliebill, it depends on the operator a great deal
