Hello
I've been thinking about buying a lure kit for some time, and I've narrowed it down to the Banjo Lure kit and the True Motion Lure. My problem is that I don't know which one works better. I've seen the Banjo Lure comercial on television, and it doesn't seem to look convincing. Contradictory to what I though, my friend stated that they work pretty well.
On the other hand, I've seen the True Motion Lure kit infomercial, and they look like they'd really catch some fish. The only problem is, I don't know anybody who's tried them before.
Pricewise, the True Motion Lures are on sale for the same price as Banjo Lures, so they cost the same. Is there anybody out there that owns both Banjo and True Motion lure kits? Which one would you prefer? Please

I've found in my years of fishing to invest money in lures that are not hyped on late night TV or things like that. No lure automatically catches fish. If they did, tournement anglers would be using them and there would be 100+ pound catches for every angler every day. Nope, just hype. I prefer plastic worms (Culprits) spinnerbaits (not Terminators-rip off), and the old standbys. Don't flame me, just my opinion and experience.

Never used true motion. Spend to much time fishing in vegitation.
I use the Banjo minnors and frogs alot. They work well, but I also use many other type of tackle.
Here in MN the banjo minnos are deadly for Pike and Bass when fished at the right time of day and right weather.
I have also developed my own weedles systen that my husband and I use.
Try this.
Plastic lure of your choice, Sassy Shad, salt lizzard, etc.
Screw a Hitch Hicker in to the nose of the plastic.
Snap the Hitch Hicker on to an Eagele #4 weedles hook ( metal spring bail )
This combo will go through just about any weed you can find.

Thanks,

Manufactured by Tru Turn it is a wire screw just like the Banjo set up except it snaps over the hook without the need to crimp in place with needle nose. The wire bail in an Eagle hook helps keep it in place.
About $1.50 per 8 pack. Had to special order my last supply from Galyans in Minneapolis.
