I live in Louisville and go fishing all the time, but there aren't too many great places that I know of around here, so I was wondering if anybody knew of any good spots that were close by? I go to a few local parks that have small lakes, but my favorite place seems to be starting to suffer from too many fisherman that don't release anything but bluegill. Thanks in advance!

Do you need an Indiana license to fish at the falls? Also what is the recommended bait and what kind of fish do you usually catch?

I've had success at both Lake Patoka in Indiana and at Taylorsville lake. You can do bank or boat fishing at both lakes, albeit boat fishing is probably the better way to go.
